Kyle wanted to imrpove the overall user experience of his sites and increase conversions.

My Role:

I developed custom features that provided a smoother experience for customers as well as implementing massive speed optomizations.

Features Developed:

• Upsell popup design, integrated through Bold Subscriptions
• Custom discount functionality that applies on users first visit to the site through a special discount code link. This was developed in a way that tracked the users discount activation status without forcing them to log in to the store, resulting in a silky smooth user experience.
• A "Checking Availability" window that displays a loading icon while the availability of a discount is confirmed. This created more engagment and urgency for the customer while also making the store feel a bit more like an app than a website.
• Speed Optomizations. I was able to reduce the size of one of Kyles sites by 95.5%, which resulted in a 25 point increase in Google Lighthouse.
• Custom SendOwl integration, with special link that can be used in areas other than what is specified by SendOwl.
